Orléans : premiers essais des rames du tram B
Alstom a testé le 4 novembre 10 des 21 rames qui circuleront le 30 juin 2012 sur la seconde ligne de tram d’Orléans. Les essais se sont déroulés à Saint-Jean-de-Braye, à proximité du futur centre de maintenance, et sur une distance de 300 m. Les rames qui ont effectué ces essais avec succès devaient notamment atteindre la vitesse de 40 km/h et effectuer des tests de freinage, d’accélération et de contact avec les lignes aériennes. Les essais se poursuivront dans les prochaines semaines sur 7 autres rames qui seront livrées avant la fin d’année, tandis que 4 rames déjà livrées ont été mises en service en renfort sur la première ligne. Ces 17 rames seront remises le 1er janvier à Keolis, nouvel exploitant du réseau tram-bus. Les travaux d’infrastructure de cette ligne de 11,3 km seront achevés en décembre.
